The idea that these are the only possible options is just laughably untrue. If you were serious it'd suggest a concerning lack of imagination, but of course you aren't, you just post bait to sow division between people who would otherwise be on the same side. Everyone should block this acct & dni.

I am interpreting "you" as meaning "the broader American public", but yes, I can agree somewhat. I think there many US ppl ignorant/guilty of the hypocrisy you describe, & there are many others who aren't. It won't help the end goal of ousting the current adm if we alienate those in the first group

No one here (that I can see) is denying that? The question is whether scolding people who are historically ignorant or less knowledgeable has any value or relevancy to the broader goal of informing people of our gov's crimes, and I am arguing that it has a negative impact.

You really all need internet points this badly that you have to do "well ackshully we've always war crimed" posts? We're all on the same fucking side here: rightfully outraged at our gov murdering people. Whether we see it as new behavior or a historical pattern is irrelevant in this context.

I will vote for anyone on the state and national level who promises to make it their priority to disband and prosecute all of these people. There are many other policies I care about, but putting these traitors away so they can never do this again must be handled first.
