Middle school teacher
According to this clown, Musk and Trump have “supernatural lack of sleep abilities” — ie drugs and a social media addiction

I want him to suffer and be humiliated. I do get sad, though, watching the aging process take place. Like with McConnell, it reminds me of my own parents getting old and falling apart. Needless to say, fuck these losers I do hope they get run through the mud a few times before dying even if it’s sad

I work with middle schoolers every day. I teach them, coach them, advise them, spend all day in a classroom with them. They are NOT the problem. Kids today are no different than kids in the past.

It means absolutely nothing but kids love it. My students don’t bat an eye if the answer is 69 but they lose their shit if it’s 67

Slay the spire

I feel like all of this falls under “no shit” conclusions to anyone paying attention. It’s a good step, though, to read it from administration insiders.

I read it as an aside to an article promoting the idea of not putting candidates on pedestals … Quite an assumption, I never bought into his hype after his first fundraising text to me started with “nothing pisses me off more than candidates begging for money,” then he proceeds to beg me for money.

Allowing for politicians to (hypocritically or genuinely) pivot their actions in support of what the public wants is more important than being right.
October 27, 2025 at 4:24 PM
I guess no one here read the article. Dayen advocated for public pressure on lawmakers to adapt to public sentiment rather than searching for the perfect candidate. This was not a “vote for Platner because his stated ideology is more important than his nazi tattoo” piece.

And the damn white board lmao

Anger, billionaire hate, cursing, diversity, strong leadership symbolism sitting behind the desk, glasses perched where they should… Someone’s been working hard with the focus groups. Too bad it’s chuck fucking schumer

He’s has been on the correct side of history on nearly all issues from his days in the state assembly fighting for the Bay, to being a leading voice for a stronger recession stimulus in the House, to everything currently happening. He owns most his colleagues just by being an honest leader.

Being fired from (or quitting) the post 2024 WaPo is a sign that you stand for something.
September 15, 2025 at 3:18 PM
This is a dumb statement. Most people here have families, lives, jobs, neighbors. Do you just assume that anyone to the left of you is a woke, terminally online professor living on campus?
September 7, 2025 at 11:58 AM
I feel like we, as a society, should be completely fine with his line of work being drastically less rewarded.
August 24, 2025 at 2:50 AM
Yes, and when in the minority (2023), he single-handedly put a blanket hold on military nominations for almost a year
August 20, 2025 at 8:22 PM
Wow look at you. Big man with with your big following
August 20, 2025 at 8:19 PM
They must have skimped on the critical reading and thinking. At no point did I write that citizens have no responsibility. I just stated that elected officials inherently hold more power and responsibility than their constituents.
August 17, 2025 at 10:15 PM
lol can you elaborate? Keep the caps lock on, it’s more fun to read that way
August 17, 2025 at 4:36 PM
That’s such a dumb statement. My job is to teach middle schoolers. Congress members have way more civic responsibility than ordinary voters. Without leaders, society crumbles, and the people we voted in to lead aren’t doing jack shit to inspire confidence in their abilities.
August 17, 2025 at 1:32 PM
Nope. McConnell, Tuberville, Rubio, and the rest of those assholes proved that Senators in the minority still have a whole lot of power to grind things to a halt. Stop with this Dems are powerless crap, especially since they say it while in the majority too — they’re always powerless apparently

This article paints such a depressing and pathetic picture of our national politics — buy the appeal of rich donors, who will buy you into the White House. The whole sham being sold to you by grifting consultants who then convince the media that their bullshit it’s worth listening to.
August 2, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Holy shit. It just gets more craven.

“By purchasing or renting Democratic donors’ contact information, candidates can more effectively target potential supporters, introduce themselves to a national audience and convert some of those donors into their own.”
