About 37% of the population didn’t vote in 2024. White people are 72% of the electorate but their only 62% of the population. If non whites voted at the same level as whites i.e. ten percent higher than their population levels, Republicans would never win another election.

Whites are 72% of voters despite being only 62% of the population. They are 85% of the GOP and 65% of Dems. Trump won by 1.5% with 56% of the white vote. If just 1% of whites get less insecure, their whole raison d’etre vanishes.

Demographics look impressive. Blacks 85%, Latino 52%, Asians, 54%. But all together they are only 22% of the electorate. Voting at the same rate as whites together with liberal whites they would win most elections 60/40. This is not explained in any polling data.

Those figures allow you to derive my earlier conclusions substituting 72/75 and 62/60. It still reveals huge wins for Dems. I believe voter suppression it a big reason
