If the real problem for farms is that farmers are struggling to make a good living selling produce then surely what really needs to be looked at is the entire way the supply chain works and the uneconomic contracts that supermarkets make when buying from producers.

To a problem they caused, and made 10,000x as much profit on as their donation which is only to buy some good PR.
