It’s so hard to redefine your internal sense of worth when society equates it with success or status.
We need to do more to shift the focus, from education to work, towards valuing character over achievement.

Create environments where people feel as tall as the trees. By engaging with and fiercely caring for one another, we can uplift individuals with a smile, gratitude, and genuine connection. #CareUnlocksExcellence

Since my rugby days are well behind me, it struck me: maybe it’s time for me to be the one asking for selfies, as a way of saying thank you to those who recognise me.
So, here’s a shout-out to Rebecca and Lee. Although, truth be told, Rebecca hadn’t a clue who I was! Massive thanks to you both! x

So much to take from this amazing lady’s writing but this is one that I cherish.

We need to promote a mindset where fulfillment isn’t pinned on an end goal but rather on the journey.
This can be freeing, as we can and indeed should try to experience satisfaction and meaning in the present, without waiting for some ultimate achievement or possession.

Care unlocks excellence:

There’s so much light in our society that is drowned out by the incessant “noise” of the dark.
We need to give more of a voice to the light that’s out there. #socialvalue

In some communities there is often a belief that fate dictates circumstances, limiting a sense of agency to change, low aspiration and missed opportunities for economic mobility.

We need to shift this mindset by focusing on empowerment and changing perceptions.
