Why can’t Albo just say “If Trump did what he proposed, it would be a war crime”? It’s not a running commentary, it’s a statement of fact.
What is he so afraid of?

LLM bots posing as 'polite disagreers' are worryingly convincing. I've already seen a fair few people engaging with them. Bsky obviously trying to moderate them but - how to increase literacy around how to spot them?

As the post says.....just ignoring all weird replies is a healthy start
A polite disagreement bot ring is flooding Bluesky — reply guy as a (dis)service
On the Bluesky social network, you may notice a lot of drive-by responses from accounts that rarely or never post — they just reply to other accounts. The reply pattern starts with a phrase like “I…

#COP29 failed to deliver climate justice. The so-called 'Finance COP' is morally bankrupt, with a US$300bn annual climate finance deal that’s far too little, far too late. The Global North must pay its climate debt and prioritise the health of people and the planet over fossil fuel profits. #auspol

New text drops at #COP29 and it is entirely unacceptable!

The #climatefinance goal is status quo = 2009 goal adjusted for inflation

The text is wide open to loans, carbon markets, anything really counting as #climatefinance, which makes the #NCQG meaningless.
