It is supposed to do that, yes. And his personal wealth has gone from $300 billion to $150 billion since you wrote that.

That's debatable.

Very interesting. Thank you. I was intrigued by this reference I found a little while ago. Holdich was a 90-year-old man recalling various stories from his time in the city. "And they were roommates..." comes to mind.

Arguing with conspiracy theorists can be a thankless task, but then one of them will say something like this and it all seems worth it.

Liz Truss managed to find a lamb and a fenced-off church for a photo op. We're assured she had nothing to do with the church's devastation by fire two years ago.

Still in Australia, Senator Babet doesn't seem to be aware that Creme Eggs have had the same name since 1963 and are completely distinct from Easter eggs.
December 15, 2024 at 8:32 AM
Easter also coincides with Ramadan this year, which has given license to some pretty overt racism. Has anyone ever heard of Easter lights? Is our patriotic chocoholic aware that KitKit's Ramadan products were only available in Australia? Who cares, right?

Happy Easter. It's been a great year for culture war brainrot.

#TransDayOfVisibility has fallen on 31st March every year since 2009, but this year it coincides with Easter Sunday. Ofc, Joe Biden marking the occasion means he's opened up a new front in the War on Christianity.

Ralph Coon speaks frankly about LA's alternative writing scene in the 1990s - doing heroin with Adam Parfrey, the edgelord antics of Boyd Rice and Nick Bougas, and the sad end of the Goddess Bunny.

I wonder if @DonCoscarelli knows he kickstarted the career of Ralph Coon in 1988. I've written an article about Ralph and his cult film about ufologist and trickster Gray Barker.
