I decided to make the most of yesterday while I was evacuated to Long Beach. Wandered past Anime Los Angeles (ALA), and got my first industry badge as a voice actor. An unexpected and delightful distraction.
I’ll be driving back to check on the apartment today, and hopefully staying there if I can.

Psst… Home Studio 2.0 is taking shape. I’ll probably post a little tour video when it’s done. I still can’t believe I’m in LA, learning from legends and personal heroes. What an adventure this move has been!

Oh, hi Bluesky. It’s been a minute. Hmm, pocket journal entry; what a wild year it’s been. I remember writing from San Francisco while I was dealing with my divorce. Now, I am moving back to California, I have vocal coaches, and I am continuing to dream so big. I’m so glad to get real medical care.

Here are some food photos from my home kitchen. I’ve become a self-taught home cook over the last eight years or so. I’ve dabbled in everything from pasta making, bread and pastry, sides and mains. I’ve been known to go “all out” and make a full course dinner for birthdays, if I’m vibing.
