In Cook County, we've always believed every person deserves access to justice & essential services, regardless of immigration status. Cook County will use every tool at our disposal - legal, legislative & administrative - to push back against unlawful federal actions & to safeguard our residents.

Today, the Cook County Veterans Assistance Commission of Cook County opened its new Veterans Services Office. This marks an important step forward in our effort to honor Veterans in Cook County with meaningful action—by ensuring access to the services, care and respect they deserve.
