Seattle is the bessssst what the hell these views and vistas just driving around, something every day. Just so beautiful, being stuck in traffic, earnestly, is so nice.

As we sunset 2024, what was your happiest moment this year?
Sunset looking over some trees into a vast ocean of clouds. A mountain peaks out from the clouds, under a sunsetting sky with partly cloudy warm color. Tsuchinshan-ATLAS over Edmond's fishing pier Aurora Borealis showing it's light through the evening clouds. Pinks and greens(unusual for clouds) shine through, giving star contrast to the blues we're used to up above Ferris wheel at the pier in Seattle, in front of a stark sunset, the silhouette of the wheel stands tall in the center, framed by trees on the right, and a small building to the left. Behind it is water leading into a forested hill on the bank across the way

Memories of early fall
(There's a lot of mushrooms haha)
Small white/brown mushroom peeking up through the grass, only half as tall as the green blades drooping around it From under two mushrooms growing on a log, they have a darker, reddish brown color, almost rusty, and smaller left one has a little bit of slug slime dripping off it. Fly Agaric crowning out of the earth, little spots of white over a red cap just barely surfacing for their short life in fall Another set of mushrooms in the hollow of a dead tree, the right one is draped by a leaf and has cascading patterns of bright tones leading into dark ones on the stem, with a rusty colored cap, uneven and jasper patterned, the left hides some smaller darker mushrooms, with a spiky texture

Y’ALL! Scientists at Schmidt Ocean just captured this rare video of an open-ocean squid caring for its young. That pearl-packed black bag between its tentacles is a brood pouch, each pearl is a developing baby squid (you can see a few hatch out at the end).
