Cooking a roast dinner is much better than having one cooked for you, because you can eat pretty much a whole extra serving while you’re making it. For instance, I just “tested” three roast potatoes. Next I’m going to test a Yorkshire pudding.

The teenager who died following a medical episode at Amman United rugby club last week has been named 14-year-old Seren Jenkins from Tycroes. Her family said she “lived her short life to the full” and was a budding artist and rugby player.

Perfect soft poached eggs - put two eggs into boiling water, uncracked, for 15 secs. Take out and crack carefully into the water. Boil gently for one minute and turn off the heat.
Put in your toast, and when done, serve with the eggs. It is very simple, and it works.
