Even with Embiid and George back, McCain found a way to create his own shot. Alongside that, he also used their gravity to his advantage and made their job easier by hitting his open shots.

Something McCain has always liked to do is a leaning fadeaway once he gets two feet in the paint. A shot so effective that even the formidable Jonathan Isaac reacts to McCain’s head fake. That slight hesitation is all he needed to get the up-and-under basket.

When Paul George is on the court, he’s going to get a fair share of eyes on him. With three Magic looking to PG and Franz Wagner respecting the cutting Martin, McCain is left wide open and all he has to do is what he does best. McCain’s shooting is being heavily respect by Suggs (as it should be). With Suggs preparing to go over the Embiid screen, McCain takes advantage of the step he now has away from the screen for a driving two.
