One of my favorite cousins is getting married in March in Las Vegas (my hometown) and I am so excited to go back and celebrate her and her fiancé, to revisit my hometown, and I’m also doing a side trip to the Grand Canyon. March is going to be insane for me.

Someone obsessed with entrepreneurship is a massive red flag to me.

I have such an unnatural super crush on Mia Goth. Lord help me.

Get you someone who looks at you the way Trump looks at Mamdani.

I love being able to wear shorts and a shirt in the middle of November but I also know that means the continuing impending doom for the environment.

That awkward moment when you want to talk to someone about a deeply personal issue but she just became a mom so it’s probably not the right time, haha.

Damn, Dick Cheney dying AND Zohran Mamdani winning the NYC mayoral race!? Today’s been a good day.

I hate car culture so much. My very able-bodied neighbors will literally put their laundry in their cars and drive less than a block away to do their laundry.

I am the same age as Sam Reid and that makes me very happy.

It is my birthday today, I guess.

I miss when Loyal Coffee would give you a free drink for your birthday.

Why do we spell it “forty” and not “fourty”? One of life’s greatest mysteries…

I recently acquired these items. Where do I go to sell them? I doubt any pawn shops in town have the money to pay what they're worth.

Obama is the lynchpin of neoliberal failure:

- no bankers went to jail for the financial crisis
- no punishment for Bush era crimes including torture
- no reigning in open market manipulation and illegal activity of tech disruptors like Uber
- refused to reform the filibuster
- drone wars expanded
obama ramped up the use of drone strikes (10x more than bush!) and deported a record number of immigrants. he helped maintain and expand the systems trump is now using to do his crimes
I miss the times when the worst thing a President did was wear a tan suit

I think I figured out my plan for my 39th birthday next year. Will be one of the biggest hikes of my 30s. Lots of planning to do now.

Cool! There’s a half mile of 8th St. blocked because of a white supremacist car parade.

Finally reading/listening to the audiobook of @robdelaney.bsky.social’s book, A Heart That Works, and I am sobbing. Not even halfway through yet but goddamn. It’s a beautiful sadness, if that makes sense. Thank you, Rob, for sharing this story. Much love to you.

I need to rewatch it but I LOVED Eddington. It had literally all of the current and past issues from the past five years. Holy shit.

I’m a single dude so I could be wrong about this but I find it super weird to be married for a while and then get divorced and never say anything about it online.

It’s really important to stick your neck out to experience beautiful days like this.

Yesterday, I had to drive through Cripple Creek to get back onto Highway 67 but had to take a detour due to the main road being close for a festival. I took a wrong turn and ended up see a house with a big ol’ sign out front saying “Every day is a good day to punch a Nazi”. Made my heart warm.

I realized the safety lock plastic thing for my bear spray was missing and I couldn’t find it in my place so I ordered a new one. $2 for it plus $4 for shipping. Anyway, I get my stuff for a hike and go out to my car, set my stuff in the back seat, then see the safety thing sitting right there. 🙄
