So I rigger up a simple test on a breadbox and fiddled with it... and tried turning the gain down from 128 to 64 (?). And it seems to work!

Now to build another wind tunnel and see if I can measure downforce going up with speed...

I first put this down to using a 5kg load scale to try and measure ~10mg of downforce; never going to be able to see that in the noise. So for the next iteration, I used a 100g weight scale (the model weighs ~30g) - but still too much noise!

Some of you may already know, I'm designing and building a little desktop wind tunnel. Latest iteration has a weight scale in it, to try and measure downforce on the model. Problem is, the weight scale has been super noisy - and I've not really been able to get a signal from it (see attached)

On my PTO week I'm continuing my 3D printing theme, this time with a DIY trolley and filament dry box for my Prusa XL: www.printables.com/model/109007...

Finally got round to doing the Prusa MK4S upgrade - and so far loving the small speed bump and massive cooling upgrade. PETG and overhangs print much better. Well worth it.
