True. I guess it's a way to emphasise the "what didn't you understand the last time" subtext!

Depends on context, but usually polite way of reminding someone you've already had this conversation?

Yeah, bit by the numbers but nicely filmed and gave us a Welsh drama fix!

Can't beat a bit of popcorn binge streaming like CSI or Bones! We've recently watched Pembrokeshire Murders on Netflix (okayish true crime) and rewatching the brilliant Unforgotten. For a bit of vintage naff crime drama looks like entire run of Jonathan Creek is currently on iPlayer.

Isn't there a fan theory that in fact she is dead?

Rummages in the box for the quick start rules. And it's always the "I'll pick it up as we go" players who are howling in protest at the end of the game because "How was I meant to know combining my Bonsai power tokens with my Inversed Taunt cards gave me bonus points in the shadow slapping round?"

Same here. Student house shared a back wall with the then Newcastle Brown brewery, lived just off Canongate in Edinburgh for a few years and now in the plume of the Carlsberg brewery in Northampton.

Lovely samosas and chai tea (could have done with a tad more chilli spice for my own taste) - very welcome on a cold day outside the National Pub of the Year!

Memory is fuzzy - sure it wasn't first model available in the UK, but definitely first one I'd seen. Had auto reverse, which is why Ray's post reminded me. Must have been post '83 as I do remember it was after we moved to North East England from The Netherlands.

Recently: having to be tapped on the shoulder by the train guard as my bluetooth headphones had disconnected from my phone and the entire carriage *could* hear the music.

Not far off. I don't think I'd every listened to music on headphones, and certainly not proper stereo, prior to that - so it was pretty mindblowing.

Yeah, three day streak of exercise. Grab bag of Nik Naks and a Dairy Milk might have accidentally been ingested on rest day yesterday!

I remember my Dad - who travelled to Japan regularly for his work - bringing a Walkman back in the mid 80s. Was like sci-fi magic to young me!

Is that like a databaas?

Always admired your eye for composition and use of light. Reminds me one NY resolution for me should be to get out with a proper camera more this year.

I *think* 11.22.63 is still on Amazon - I'm still in two minds about whether it's good or not, but interesting premise, nice production/cast and throws up some JFK theory questions. Suspect the King book might be better and contain more info, so you might want to do that (if not done so already).

As I type, just seen you said London - but I'll plough on regardless! Whisky distilleries often have an official cat: www.scotchwhiskyexperience.co.uk/the-distille...
The Distillery Cat - The Scotch Whisky Experience
Did you know that cats have historically played an important role in the making of Scotch whisky? August 8th is International Cat Day.
