Stupidity tries. Code, cats, cycling, existential dread, parenting in South London. Making America Kittens Again, again (sigh). Mostly at tomroyal.com
(Perhaps your GP did the opposite - choosing to invite nobody instead of everybody. Not sure which is worse..)

It seems to have been quite common - I think perhaps some GP groups triggered the CV19 booking process to their entire flu jab eligible lists. Ans, bafflingly, the NHS App just guides you through the process of making a redundant appointment.

(FYI @andrewgregory.com, there's possibly a story in this - NHS booking system vs frontline service mismatch)

Presumably she already owns all the squares, and you can never win?

(Possibly worse: the page also includes commented-out links to the specific vibe-coding platform used to make it. So by searching for those, someone could find similarly created services and.. urgh.)

It's just Duolingo being Duolingo! I said "という", it transcribed that as と言う, then complained that I should have used という :)

I think it must operate on a kind of lookup-table system (hence why it thought expensive-高い and tall-高い were two different things and that I'd somehow said the wrong one)

There are things about Duolingo that I like - teaching a slightly more informal tone (の as a question marker, etc), and it makes it dead easy to slot in a little bit of listening daily. But I wonder if it's much more useful as practice/reinforcement than to actually *teach* stuff.
