in a challenge with my children i used the seeds from a paprika and planted them, very curious if something edible comes up. Will update. With tomatoes the same happens here i just get the wild variant (tasty but sooo small)

Please share the taste difference as well. Sometimes i find interesting seed selection and with cheap ones i had really interesting results as well. Guess you have to invest quite a lot to make sure your seeds are not cross pollinated.
