Tell me winter is coming without telling me winter is coming.

After a successful Franco Belge last week, I'm off to my first World Tour race at the Renewi Tour starting tomorrow. Let's see what the week holds.

Another Queen Stage in the breakaway. This time at the Baloise Belgium Tour. It was hot and à bloc from the start.

Up next: Baloise Belgium Tour

A few places I recognise on there.

Kermesse racing is one of the best ways to understand the Geography of Belgium.

Our sponsors... Once seen they cannot be unseen. It's quite cool actually.

After seeing "Dabbel" yesterday at Gullegem—pro kermesse koerses are different gravy...

It's time for a coffee and recovery ride today.

The Dabbel is the new edition to Spiuk's sunglasses range 😎

Auction finishing on Thursday evening for this beauty of a Pinarello F10 Disc!

In an age of proprietary, this bike gives the ability to adjust to your hearts content, whilst not limiting your wheel choice.

Have a look through the link below. 👇🏻

I wonder, do you fancy wearing our colourful and standout jersey, or helmets too?

They're certainly a great way to be seen and safe on the road, or turn heads as you roll up to the café on your Sunday Club Run.

Head over to the shop, to put in your order! 👇🏻

It’s a big race to have on the books, and I’m excited for what perspective it will produce for the upcoming races. Cause one thing is for sure, I’ll get up and do it all again tomorrow

More to come, as I piece together this puzzle of the next step.

It inspired me that I could be part of the show that day. C'est dommage that I missed out on the KOM jersey, but to finish 3rd in that competition is certainly a lesson for the books.

I’m especially proud that I turned all the feelings of excitement and nerves into a breakaway on the queen stage of the race. My brain jumped to something Magnus Backstedt said at the Tour du Doubs a few weeks ago, with Jez Cox on the comms.

Thankfully, the training with Dr. Scott Frey came good, as my brain felt like mush—similar to how I might feel after one of our strenuous training sessions.

My focus was dialled on the factors which needed the most attention: the road, and my recovery. Sleep, writing and reading became a priority.

Creating a plan to overcome the challenges I faced in a race of this level.

The peloton was tighter than ever, and the speed felt like the jump hyperspace. Yet through my vigilant approach, I kept finding myself in a very good position at a very good time.

"It’s just another race." As I tried to temper my nerves, I thought about all the reasons why that might be the case. Yet this level, my first dot PRO race, was unlike anything I’d experienced before.

A big racing block brings with it many notes in my notepad.

After a brief rest à cause de un chute à Tour du Doubs I've had an opportunity to type up some of the tales from the road.

Happy Mother's Day.

I love my parents. They're my rocks.

It's special when they come to watch a race, especially nowadays as it is a rarity.

It's calming.
