There have been multiple flash floods across the U.S. since the start of July. Each was unique. Each happened in a few hours. Each occurred at the time of year weather experts call “flash flood month.” Here's what to know. nyti.ms/3Ufzynz

"I'm happy to report I'm just fine. I lost a button. But I'm gonna sleep in my bed tonight, safe, with my family... At that elevator, I was separated from someone named Edgardo... Edgardo is in ICE detention and he's not going to sleep in his bed tonight."

There are widespread reports of ICE agents abducting people while masked, without warrants or identification. Due to recent events, we strongly advise: do not open your door or car for anyone you don’t know. That’s the message. No need to elaborate.

Here is my official Survivor season 50 wishlist. 50% old era players who we actually need to see again. 50% New era players on their way to becoming legends.

A tribe of winners protects them until a swap, and very few prior shared screen time.

What are your thoughts?

I highly recommend this to any looking to understand the motivations that lead to

- the genocide in Gaza
- the economic frivolity of Trump
- the collective ruling class’ ignorance to climate catastrophe

Well I finished “The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism” and I’ll never look at catastrophes the same way again.

Who pays and who benefits? From economic disaster, terrorist attacks, from environmental disaster?

Who is positioned to help? Any government agencies or all contractors now
