The 2024 Short Course World Championships that wrapped up today (Sunday, 15/12/24) was one of the greatest swim meets in history.

I think one of the reasons that people vilify Robespierre is that they can’t (or refuse to) grasp that someone’s primary desires were truly systemic and outside of their own personal ascendency

1989 is one of the best albums of all time. 1989 (Taylor’s Version) had the Herculean task of becoming that masterpiece and almost entirely delivers, surpassing the original on some tracks (Out Of The Woods) while falling short on a few (Style). Overall, incredible.

Ahsoka has risen to the top of my ranking of Star Wars releases. Phenomenal characters, both new and returning. Expansion of the known universe taking us to a new galaxy. Lightsaber combat was beautiful. 10/10. Looking forward to watching all eight episodes back-to-back. Can’t wait for more.
