I'm not a dick and not daft. I know how to read an earnings report and determine where, when, and how public companies derive their revenue. People assuming I'm naive and some simpleton for not agreeing to scold people for playing a free, harmless online game then calling me names is absurd.

Keep being a scold. A fact free one at that. No subscription means they lose money on it.

You may not like Cuomo on a whole host of issues (I probably agree), but are climate related issues really something where he was bad? NY was a leader in this area with him as governor.

The US constitution is broken. Currently senators from "low density states", i.e. places with already disproportionate power in the Senate, are working to exempt their constituents from Medicaid cuts. Screw the places where lots of people choose to live and the people living there.

In 1980, the poorest 20% of households made less than $7500, in current dollars. Now the poorest 20% makes a bit less than 4 times that.

Average Americans (median person) earn much more today than their parents did, much more than in 1980.

One thing that is true, people's parents used to die earlier, so transfers of wealth from one generation to the next happen later.

It's honestly amazing how many terrible companies America has. There are 12 companies worse than Boeing? There are 8 companies worse than the one where millions of regular people cheered the assassination of a previously unknown senior executive? But it's hard to argue when you read the list.

Has done 200 replies since my screenshot. Not getting a lot of new followers, though.

I am not trying to follower count shame, but I just clicked on that guy and he's posted 1100 times with 12 followers? Seems unusual.

We elected people who hate due process, freedom of speech, and checks and balances.

Lol. That is not an actual response or argument as to how the data in this graph or the link doesn't hold up. Reading the information and looking at the charts/data in the link do seem to suggest that 2019-2023 was the best 5 year period in at least 40 years for low income people.

In 1996, the cowboys were valued at $272 million. They are now well over 10 billion. Probably close to 50x over the last 30 years.

You are telling me? Well ok then, I'm convinced. What happens when the old and infirm have friends, family, and subordinates who look out for their own self interest and not the people who are being represented by an incredibly diminished 90+ year old? Seems too common.
