i expected a game that had outstanding music that the entire experience was built around to at least get a nomination for that, rather than just getting shoved into the "games for impact" category, which people famously dont pay attention to or even like.

lately it's been the ps1 for some reason. so many super cool games that i missed out on as a kid. recently been buying way too many rpgs for that console and i havent really kept up with playing them

It's a pretty basic metroidvania. Not a ton of goodies from exploring outside of more max health. Jack is decently fun to control and his sprites are excellent. So far it's pretty easy. And yeah, it's a prequel. Not a ton of story yet though.
