I’m beginning to think I have conflated a few things. The line from Independence Day when the President’s daughter says to the First Lady on the phone ‘Dad let me stay up and watch Letterman’ and then he looks down at her and says ‘traitor’ + a doggy scene from, say, Lethal Weapon 2 = false memory.

Just want to let you know that I also have seen this thing (almost certainly multiple times) and now it’s driving me fucking bananas.

Well, one of the nice things about that Sumi one is that you don’t need to cut it with water, so it tends to be very black. I’ve heard good things about Speedball stuff too, but haven’t tried it yet.
