All day I've been unable to get this post from David Frum out of my mind. Three brief thoughts:
1) Vaccine skepticism is fairly recent in the GOP. There are precedents—like skepticism about fluoridation in decades past—but it wasn't long ago that the mainstream GOP heaped scorn on vaccine skeptics.

It's disheartening that in an age where knowledge has never been more accessible - the United States is about to be governed by an administration so primitive and ignorant as to believe that tariffs are good and that vaccines are bad.
