And round the corner to Dad and Dave's. Beer choice is the Schwarzbier which might seem odd for a brewery that made it with a pale ale. This is a smooth clean roasty dark lager. Pleasingly dry.
Also a pleasingly middle aged band and audience...

And on to seventh day w Hick is a real local favourite though I can't quite tell why other than 'there's pizza'. Beer choice is always tough here. They've got a lot better but often not quite to the standard of places a very short walk away.
And I'll be dipped in dogshit if that's an actual pint.

On to Freshwater brewing and their consistently drinkable "Brookie Black" porter served on nitro. Don't care about authentic serving when the result is a sinkable savoury delight with a nice touch of berry fruit character to it. It's a bit like a Nordic style filter coffee with teeny tiny bubbles.

As is now traditional I am "at the staff Christmas party" which I have begun at Goodradigbee distillery. This time I have begun with the Bluegum whisky which is really strong but utterly delicious. I am going to have to leave quickly or I suspect I will have too many.
