For those of us fearing MAGAs attempts to paint all of its enemies as “Communists” I found solace in the words of Bill Bryson in his memoir titled “The Thunderbolt Kid.” His Chapter 7 description of the Red Scare in the 50s is laughably the same as we hear now.
