In this exchange I told Dr. Flier he was sharing obvious antivaccine misinformation from a pandemic fabulist Vinay Prasad.

It didn’t matter.

He didn’t care.

Basic facts didn’t matter and he got really mad at me for saying things like this.

He never considered if I had a point.

As Trump takes office & pledges mass deportations, here is a shareable film series written *by immigrants for immigrants* on how to safely defend against ICE.

The first of four: 🚨If ICE is outside your door, don’t panic. Don’t open the door. Ask to see a warrant. ICE can’t enter w/o one. Part 4:

I asked them should the US have a universal basic income? I'm getting: Imagine a young single mother with no family support. A basic income of even $100 per month could make a huge difference in her life. Don't believe me? Look at Brazil's Bolsa Familia program...

Universal basic income is of massive importance and one byproduct of it would be improved democracy. We also need ranked-choice voting and proportional representation to abolish gerrymandering. Democracy vouchers are also great. And automatic voter registration.

What I heard boyfriend say: “The entire state of California is in lockdown for a burglar.”

Me, clarifying: “The entire state. For ONE burglar?”

He was talking about the bird flu epidemic.

This led to their use of a Watermelon slice which not only shares the colours but the seeds represent the people who will again grow & flourish

I try to remember that unlike many immigrants I had the opportunity to earn citizenship. I don’t take it lightly and I try to use my voice to take on the bad guys (and bad ladies).

This is hard cause when you get to congress you realize that some of your heroes become your colleagues. So like when I met Jamie Raskin or AOC or Jim Clyburn I was like oh shit, this is crazy. My favorites are my freshmen classmates who have become good friends. As for future, still mulling over.
Your favorite member of congress? And who do you think would best represent the dccc of the future?

Was just talking to my wife about this. I didn't know that, then she mentioned it to me. That makes blocklists even more dangerous than I thought, especially if you are signing on to one by someone who is not using their real name and who you don't know personally.

That's an invitation to mischief.
At some point this week I read that when you subscribe to a blocklist, when it gets updated any new entry will automatically be blocked for you.

So, just to get this straight...

Marjorie Taylor Greene is openly threatening other MAGA Republicans claiming that she'll push for the public release of their own disqualifying scandals if they don't work at protecting her sex trafficking, pedo pal.

That tracks for the MAGA cult.

We need to do more to support maternal and infant health, so I’m proud to have supported the law that made it possible.
