Everyone in Aaron's family except for him: that the religious doctrine and the societal rules that come with them will remain forever.

Not really. The only case I remember when I reread books, was a year or two ago when I reread all the Orphan X books that were out at the time in preparation for the newest that was coming out.

There’s livestock and birds and such in the world, but there’s few mentions of animals throughout the story.

The only home that is prominently featured is Aaron's home, which is a two story, upper-class Victorian style house.
The Victorian style also extends to the world, though not much is mentioned about it as the focus is on the social structures and differences.

Since the word "scenery" appears exactly zero times in my WIP I've gone with "scene" instead.
Snippet of my MC Aaron saying goodbye to his sister Maya, as he departs the house for four years for studies.

Mostly thrillers, though I've been reading more fantasy lately as well. And since the last ~2 years I've been reading cosmic horror quite a bit as well.

Hi, I'm Tomas! I mainly write fantasy but also dabble in scifi and cosmic horror.
Current WIP is my debut "In the Heart of the Holy Sea", a fantasy-of-manners novel about the life of a man who defies the society-defining religious doctrine.

(comes down to an average of €16,37 per book, which tbh is actually not too bad)

I still want to see Nightwish live one day! Wish I could’ve seen them when Marco was still part of the band 🥲

Time to figure out where and how to display these! (and what to do with that massive patch 😅)

Neither a new lesson nor a portrait, but I wanted to try the Imaginative Development Method with a castle. Still practice right? 😄
Tried to do more "sketching" strokes as I noticed I tend to apply a lot of pressure to the pencil. Funnily enough I like drawing 1 the most.

Break Down Method (BDM)
Fairly happy with the result considering I drew this digitally using a computer mouse 🖱️
Two things I noticed this session:
- I'm focusing on details (too) fast
- I should get more comfortable using "sketching" lines (like with the eyebrow/shoulder)

Self Feedback Method (SFM)
Not too happy with today's result. Drawing traditional for now, struggled to follow along with the video as I didn't really have the proper equipment. Guess I did what I could at least.
Thinking it may be better to get a drawing tablet and go digital.

Imaginative Development Method (IDM)
6 mins each
1: looked at reference for ~2 mins then drew from memory
2: used reference
3: used 1+2 as reference
Pretty happy again, ironically I like how I drew the eyeliner from memory the most
*bonus handwriting & smudges cus left handed😅
