The officers involved in this detention say they feel like a “newborn giraffe with wobbly legs” when conducting immigration enforcement because their training consists of a “one hour class online”. You can’t make this up.

Here you have a Florida Fish & Wildlife officer detaining an individual who was fishing and admitting they have been directed to “check with immigration on anyone who gives us a passport and doesn’t appear to be a citizen”, which sounds a lot like racial profiling.

This is what happens to parked vehicles belonging to people who are detained when called for routine appointments at the Miramar (and other) ICE processing centers. Their vehicles are often towed, which is a racket for the towing companies involved.

The state of Florida is now removing the U.S. citizen arrest category from this dashboard tracking immigration arrests altogether, but we know they mistakenly detain U.S. citizens, as was the case of Juan Carlos Lopez Gomez in Leon County.

Another revealing bit of data from this dashboard is how weaponized the Florida Highway Patrol has become in the state since being deputized to conduct immigration enforcement. They are by far the police agency conducting the most immigration arrests.

According to a Florida dashboard tracking state arrests of undocumented people, under 0.5% of those have a gang affiliation, demolishing claims of going after “criminals.” They have also detained a disturbingly high number of Guatemalans and Mexicans, signaling targeting of that community.

What a disgusting embarrassment this administration is. A bunch of criminal fascists.

It appears the first direct deportation flights, two so far if this is accurate, have departed from Alligator Alcatraz (aka TNT) in the past few days.

Collapse of the libertarian economic model in Argentina. Proposed $20 billion U.S. taxpayer funded bailout, Milei’s government had to spend $1 billion in three days in a currency manipulation scheme to prop up the peso, and now they are reinstating currency controls.

What “free market overhaul”
means for Argentina here is shock doctrine, austerity, debt, funded with billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars. The largest IMF loan in history was awarded in 2018 to Argentina to stabilize another collapsing right wing government and it was a failure.

He jokes about killing innocent people via U.S missile strikes. No evidence has been presented so far by the U.S. government as these extrajudicial killings continue (they shouldn’t happen regardless) and a boat intercepted that was supposedly carrying drugs “turned up no drugs.”

ICE presence East of US1 on Johnson Street in Hollywood, Florida. A detention took place by masked DHS agents in unmarked cars. One took the car of the detained person and drove away with it.

Also worth noting that as these extrajudicial killings continue, no actual evidence has been presented so far by the U.S. government and a boat intercepted a few days ago that was supposedly carrying drugs “turned up no drugs.”
