Pretty cool use of the labelling service on Bluesky. Demonstrates the flexibility the AT Protocol provides for alternate forms of verification.
So who wants a verified 'Microsoft' and 'Microsoft MVP' label on their profile and all the posts?

I just finished setting up @bluesky.ms as a labelling service.

Go subscribe to the label to start seeing labels on verified MVPs and Microsofties.

Really cool tool for finding accounts on Bluesky, in particular using the "Sort by proportion" feature, which favours niche accounts.
My app for finding 🦋 accounts you may want to follow has had a make-over: it now displays names and bios, and allows adding an "app password" for direct follow buttons in the listing

Okay, so you're using Signal for encrypted messaging. Cool. It's a good time to use usernames instead of a phone number to talk to people. That and lots more about how to make the most of Signal's security features in here: freedom.press/digisec/blog...

feeling nostalgic after all the recent launches and wanted to share a quick visual history of the maturation of the atproto network

just a year ago, this entire network was contained on one server - the primordial PDS

📢 1.57 Logged-out visibility

Next week the Bluesky app and website will enable logged-out viewing. If you dont want Bluesky to show your content, you can select this new option in the Moderation screen.

Remember Bluesky is a public network. This setting only adds friction to seeing your posts. 3/4
