Also afaik there is only one person working on the starfinder stuff. For now the Starfinder Anachronism module works well enough, if one really wants to start a game early

If all goes well it should be back tomorrow

The PF2e beginner box has been widely praised for teaching both players and GMs the rules, you can always start there, if you're willing to spend a little money.

But as a heads up: The paizo site is currently down for maintenance, so it may take a few days

Advantage/disadvantage is kinda in the game as fortune/misfortune effects, but much less prevalent than in 5e

Starfinder 2e was officially released at GenCon in August. All the core books are now released (and free on Archives of Nethys: 2e.aonsrd.com)

these people also routinely forget to add the splash damage to the main target...

It's a good game, but it should not have the Bloodlines name.
The gameplay itself is a little reminiscent of Dishonored.

personal opinion: Fallout 4 wasn't even good enough to warrant a new edition.

If you're willing to spend some money, the PF2e beginner box has been praised by many to be a very good starting point

I encourage you to play Shadowrun 2e and then come back to this picture

I have ruffled many a feather back in the day by saying "If you can't RP in D&D 4e, you just can't RP"

You only need the player core to play and GM, but the GM core, the Galaxy Guide, and the upcoming Alien Core will be helpful

The only word that echos through my head reading that original post is: Pinkertons

Having little faith?
Please, you're talking about a company that puts out all the rules for free and still has enough people buy their products that they can keep publishing new books every month.

Expecting a new addition to have all the stuff from previous editions at the start is highly unrealistic.

The crossover is a way for both companies to reach new players. Hardly a bad decision.

Either they'll be in Monster Core 2 (coming in November) or that's something they missed during the remaster
