Sci-fi + Fantasy. Vibe doesn't gel for everyone, but it's got carefully built allusions to classic Greek plays and devastating emotional moments sandwiching references to silly memes and old Simpsons episodes. One of my favorite series ever. 2/x

Discworld by Terry Pratchett, if you've not already read it. Absolute classics. The first few (in publication order) aren't quite as good, because he was still figuring out his voice. But it's not a single "series" per se, so you can start pretty much anywhere.

I pretty much always have at least one case where I count out the right number criminals based on innocents (or vice versa) and then when I click the button have both words in brain and select the wrong one.
