The absolute sweetest, most teddy bear cat I ever had was a black cat.

Somewhere near my house some baby bluejays recently left their nest and occasionally hang out by my back door to snack and preen out the last of their fledgling fluff.

Swapping button locations and styling from their usual places on forms and then swapping them again between pages

My D&D char from several years back. He was a Warforged ranger named Tree. Took a head injury in the setting's cataclysm and woke in a tree. Assumed he was some sort of naturally occurring forest guardian. The mustache was a cursed item we found. Art by my friend who was also in the game

Super Metroid
What a gem. Absolute classic. My favorite platformer on the SNES. The art and music and sound design all worked together to really capture the moodiness and isolation of the setting.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker
For a game about a oppressive middle management in a capitalist dystopia, where explosive decompression is one bad cut away, it's also incredibly meditative, crawling around/inside a spaceship, cutting all the welds, and then peeling it like a hard boiled egg.

Halo:Combat Evolved
Speaking of games I played with my college friends. I kind of missed their peak Halo 1 times because I broke my wrist within days of meeting them. However just before the next semester started, one of them caught me up to speed in time for Halo 2 to drop.

Mario Kart 64
This is best of the Marios Kart, IMO. Spent ages in college playing with my roommates and ganging up on the computer players. We didn't care who won as long as it was a human.

Morrowind
One of my friends in college had this on XBOX. He knew the game inside and out. I briefly tried it but it didn't grab me. It was actually Oblivion and Skyrim that got me into ES. Played MW finally a few years ago and it was real neat. And the setting was nice and weird.
