I edited How High during lockdown and through the deaths of both of my father and grandmother. That book (and oddly virtual reality fishing) was the only thing keeping me together. Writing through chaos gave me a conduit to “talk to” and puzzle together a future when I was otherwise silent.
For other people like me who are 1) trying to write thru absolute catastrophic real worldness
2) because writing is the thing they do for a living &/or for sanity
3) I want to send my love out to you, because this shit is is like writing through an infinite loop brutal divorce.
