When Maggie Smith played 92yo Wendy in 1991's Hook, she was 56. That is wild to me. 17yo me had no idea she was just in makeup, and 50yo me just kind of assumed she was an immortal. RIP

Truly empathize w/the sentiment, but having dropped off my own freshmen each of the last 2yrs, the rest misses the mark. Let them set those boundaries. If they want the help or for you to explore w/them, great! If they want space to figure it out, that's OK too. This is their moment; their time.

Love this so much. Just knowing Joey f'ing Harrington gets it. Dude was my first and only jersey purchase, when the Lions drafted him. Didn't work out, but even for these guys who played through all that losing here, they know what this means to people.

You know the cliche social media bit: What's a movie you love that everyone hates? I struggled w/that one until our friend group watched Krull last weekend. They all hated it. But 9yo me got it right. It's still glorious, right down to James Horner ripping off his own score from Wrath of Khan! 😂
