"There's no grey zone" - except there is, which is my point. Applying it only to immediate action prior to a goal is forcing black/white on something grey.
If a review takes 2min to determine whether a player is actually offside, it's not obvious. And your solution is not in the spirit of the game.

I'm aware it's only for goals, but surely it should apply to a goal scored on a powerplay that came after an offside too, if we want them to get it right.
Alternatively, we could tell officials to call it as they see it and *only* reverse if it's obvious (with no penalty for a close challenge)

But what about when it should be offside, they don't call it, and the defensive team takes a penalty. Or how about when it should be offside, they don't call it, and the defensive team ends up icing the puck.
Maybe we should review everything, to make sure they get it right, down to the millimeter

I get/appreciate that, but still find it strange/disappointing that it hasn't been anywhere on SDPN (and Sportsnet)... it's gone viral around the world, arguably reached more than the Jays, but here at home, most can't be bothered. Maybe if it happened in Toronto it'd be different ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nothing new there. Habs have 6th most times short-handed and 22nd most times on the power play. Doesn't help that the players are all either young or hated by refs 🙃

Trying to listen to the segments online is becoming harder and harder... A 20min clip with Frankie Corrado was interrupted 4 times for ads, each of which come mid-sentence and at a significantly higher volume than what I'm actually trying to listen to. Thank fuck I'm not trying with headphones 🙃

I don't get why Laine and Demidov, two players who are clearly exploits on the PP and not as strong 5v5 (especially compared to the top line), are getting so little PP time... I know PP1 eventually scored, but I still find it weird

I'm not quite that optimistic (especially if it's Dobes vs Thompson), but it is worth noting that the two teams have each scored 11 goals on goalies. Washington's goals advantage is purely from empty netters
