I don't think this band existed for very long (2011/12?) and don't remember much about them. I think it's Taylor Carroll from Bear Creak on drums, idk if they played shows. some super cool ideas here somewhere between do make say thing and radiohead? I'd be shocked if this was anywhere else online.

Here's one from that time that's still online. Cower was one of the best portland diy heavy bands from like 2008-2013. Perfect heavy thrashy stoner riffs. I'd love to hear this with a big scott evans or kurt ballou mix.

I didn't realize this wasn't still online until right now. Kid Silver was bellingham band that was only around for a year or two around 2010, but Luke wrote the shit out of these songs and nothing else in town sounded like them. Perfect grimey lo-fi sebadoh riffs.

The Mission Orange was a band from Mt Vernon. I mixed them around 09/10 and it totally blew my freshman-in-college mind. This demo doesn't capture how huge they sounded live at all, but it absolutely shows how insanely talented they were. Perfect two piece with fuzzy devin ocampo riffs.

Just gonna share the bandcamp link here but found my rip of this 2010 olympia record and it still rules. I saw them around then and I think it was the first time I ever heard someone call a band shoegaze. If this band had been from philly a decade later they'd be all over tik tok.
