I mostly repost gamedev, cool art and fighting games
Finally managed to watch the new Frankenstein movie by Guillermo del Toro.
Definitely a fun take on the movie with some great and gruesome practical effects that takes the core of the original story and makes it much grander.

A new game to add, this time it's Dispatch!
From a team comprised of old tell-tale employees, Dispatch takes their usual story driven formulae and uses it for a really fun and engaging super hero office drama.

One last spooky film for the spooky season. This one was very cool

The Borderlands (or Final Prayer if you're in the US)
Is another found footage horror about a small group investigating the "miracles" that have taken place in a church in a small British countryside town.

Hell House LLC is a found footage style horror movie, that takes place entirely within a halloween haunted house of the same name. With the crew living there experiencing creepy and unnerving stuff while they set it up for business.

More spooky stuff, Scream this time.
I do love this franchise, and this movie in particular. It's not the most amazing movie ever, but it's an interesting piece of horror history, with it being the biggest factor in revitalising the slasher genre and being a meta self aware take on the genre too

More spooky films, Nosferatu (2024) next.

It's kinda refreshing to watch a modern gothic styled horror movie, this one really nails the vibe and feel of that kind of movie. Not really gonna make you jump, but has some scary moments

Weapons is up next, a newer horror movie, and a great one at that.

Setup is that one night, 17 children from the same school class get up and leave their homes, running off into the night, and the way this event effects a small town's inhabitants.

The House that Jack Built is a very VERY disturbing horror movie about a truly vile psychopath serial killer called Jack / Mr. Sophistication who views his murders as forms of art

Quite a hard watch at times, but is so fascinating and surreal that it keeps you wanting to watch more

Another movie, something completely different, this one being Tick, Tick... Boom!

A movie about a musical written about the creators own experiences with the creative process
October 5, 2025 at 8:08 PM
Watched the Beavis and Butt-Head: Do the Universe,

a movie made and released for the reboot of the series a few years ago that bring the duo back from the 98's in the dumbest way possible
October 1, 2025 at 9:52 PM
Watched the 1997 movie, Beavis and Butt-Head: Do America

being the duo's first theatrical release perfectly taking the shows very dumb premise and translating it perfectly for the big screen

Another game to add, this time it's No, I am Not a Human

A very short, RNG focused point and click style horror game about the end of the world that plays on paranoia
September 29, 2025 at 8:39 PM
Another movie, this time it's the Conjuring 2,

It's a step up from the first one, but it's still pretty formulaic (straight up the same format as the first movie) but it at the very least feels more coherent
September 22, 2025 at 8:34 PM
DanDaDan Season 2 wrapped up a few days ago as well, and much like season 1 it was very solid with great action and characters
September 21, 2025 at 6:39 PM
With this there are some fantastically scary shots and moments, that are extremely effective. Some of which will stick with me, for a while.

The film also makes a point to avoid showing faces of any of the characters, even if you do see people they'll always be just off screen or facing away.

Another spooky movie, this time it's Skinamarink

I'm very conflicted on this movie, It's a very effective and harrowing film and genuinely scared me to my core by the end, however it's a VERY slow burn, and is quite confusing and obtuse at times kinda leaving you wanting more from it
September 21, 2025 at 2:23 AM
It's not quite spooky season but i'm feeling it so here come the spooky entries on the list. First up, The Conjuring a pretty bog standard demon possession style movie with a few interesting moments
September 21, 2025 at 1:51 AM
Another movie to add, this time it's Fear and Loathing in Las Vagas,
A strange, surreal and nightmarish drug trip movie about two strange men in Las Vegas and the chaos they get themselves into
September 4, 2025 at 11:17 PM
Another rewatch to add, this one being Pirates of the Caribbean: on Stranger Tides, the 4th in the series.

I may have been far too harsh in my review of At Worlds End, while i didn't like it, this film made it look amazing by comparison
September 2, 2025 at 10:56 PM
Finished Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater HD

Great survival and stealth gameplay and solid story with absolutely insane moments and characters. Loved almost every second of it
August 28, 2025 at 7:46 PM
another new movie, This one being The Naked Gun (2025)

A surprise new entry in this spoof franchise, being a reboot/continuation of the original trilogy.

It's mostly self contained, with only a few references to the original series
August 18, 2025 at 6:55 PM
One more Pirates of the Caribbean movie to add to the list (Ik there are others but shhh)

At Worlds End.

Unfortuantely while it's a fitting climax to the trilogy, with a larger scope and scale, it kinda suffers from being too ambitious and too long
August 15, 2025 at 8:28 PM
Keeping the nostalgia trip going, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest next

Idk what the general consensus of this movie is, but for me it's better than the first in every way.
August 14, 2025 at 12:20 AM
Another rewatch, this time it's one of my favourite movies of all time. Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl

Mostly comes from a place of nostalgia, specifically the first three are always movies I come back to every so often just for fun.
August 13, 2025 at 1:01 AM
War of the Worlds (2025) is one of the worst movies of the year (so far)

It is so hilariously bad that it managed to come back around to being entertaining
