This is starting to drive me insane, and web searching is completely useless as usual. I'm having this issue with #Unity #TextMeshPro where it keeps randomly modifying certain material presets for no reason when simply clicking on or moving around objects in a prefab. Why does it keep doing this?
A TextMeshPro object that randomly changed to all-white with barely any outer glow. GitHub Desktop client showing that the "DSEG7Modern-Regular SDF Glow Orange" file has been modified, removing its "GLOW_ON" keyword, and changing its FaceDilate, OutlineSoftness, ScaleRatio, and various glow parameters to completely different values. The TextMeshPro displaying as intended, with a glowing yellow-orange color.

Once again cheating to make a #screenshotsaturday post on my #ToasterGun progress. I'm super excited to have more of this procgen stuff functional now. As soon as I put the finishing touches on it and make more rooms, I can start really getting into the meat and potatoes of the gameplay mechanics~

A quiet, startled "mewp!" noise escaped the android as she shivered into a small retreat, completely unprepared for Belle to strike back with fierce intensity and dead-eye accuracy. Her face lit up red, and a small amount of steam wafted from the vents on the side of her head. I knew Belle was a natural, she internally commented, but… I was not prepared to actually experience that for myself… "Too much?" Belle offered softly. "No!" K-T squeaked happily. She rapidly shook her head, waving out more coolant vapor. "I… I would love to come along. Wh-when is it?"
