That's a tough spot to be in and I'm glad you're confident. I'm trying to better me practice, mind messaging me about what went sour?

Nope.

A lot of reasons, unfortunately. Specifically medical patients coming in with medical emergencies, teams need to know what's onboard to assist with treatment.

I'm not advocating for pointless UDS's but I have seen where knowing has been helpful.

I agree with your last part but...

Idk where you practice but UDS's tend to be pretty accurate where I'm at. Easy fix is UDS on arrival and check MAR to see if given. Then allow teams to work with the family first.

Thanks for the validation! I just had to tell me significant other that I just can't invite anyone else to a shindig this weekend because it's too many faces to put on.

Thanks for this! I was just talking to someone the other day that this can also be hard at, let's say, a holiday gathering.

Who are you inviting? Work friends, long time friends, and new friends... I believe this can cause a switch overload.

Whenever it is warranted and maintains the therapeutic relationship.

Both. Myself for obvious reasons. For the practice just incase someone is injured walking in the front door 😅
