I would like to thank my switch 2 and Pokemon ZA for helping me make it through the last stressful week. I always love watching the end credits to see all of the talented folks that make video games. Now, on to shiny hunting and finishing the Pokédex!

Thanks. It’s a good reminder today and every day. Baz the wonder pug and I hope you are having a relaxing day. For Baz, this means lots of snoozing on or near his people.

Baz has some medical tests today. And he just met a giant malamute mix that he didn’t get to play with at the vet. It’s a tough day to be a pug.

Watched Frankenstein with Baz the wonder pug. He barked at some of the Creature growl/talking and the sled dogs. He completely slept through the CGI wolves. So brave. So discerning.

It’s been a week, but here’s Baz the wonder pug asking why he didn’t get to have graham crackers and peanut butter for a snack.

I voted early, so I will be attempting to distract myself until polls close. I’m sure Baz the wonder pug would be happy to help me. This is his “please give me feet to snuggle so I can relax and take a nap” look.

Baz the wonder pug threw a fit at 4:30. He sounded like he was possessed, and I don’t think I’ve heard him make those sounds before. He hates the time change. He also remains disappointed that his humans can’t realize that it is past pug dinner time.

Baz makes a cute dragon. #halloweenpet

Pug of the morning: I left the house yesterday to run some errands. Baz the wonder pug does not approve of the warm lap leaving. But he does suffer through by lying on multiple pillows on the sofa. He is staring intently at the bag off screen containing my lunch: a hamburger and baked potato.

Pug of the morning: Gale warnings and rain and cold are not Baz approved weather. First time in his coat this fall.

Pug of the morning: Baz is certain that it is dinner time. But he also doesn’t want to leave the lap too soon. Moments after this, when I moved to get up, he rushed down the ramp and began the high-pitched barks of joy that signal food. And he tried to steal my shoe.

The day is bright and chilly. Perfect for curling up on the sofa and finishing The Bewitching by @silviamg.bsky.social . I have a tumbler of La Llorona tea from @fridaytea.com which is a great match to this haunting tale.

This is Baz’s reaction when I tell him I forgot the house key. Luckily, husband will be back soon. Until then, Baz has decided to lie in the sunshine to recharge.

Pug of the day: the weather has turned fall-like, and Baz is sad when his personal heating pad (aka human) runs errands. Do not worry, the human is now sitting with a lap full of sleeping pug.

This is Baz. He is 5 and has to put up with me listening to music and doing dishes instead of feeding him. I might have been a few minutes late with breakfast.

First day for handknits this fall! I grabbed my handspun Age of Brass and Steam as I headed out the door to walk Baz the wonder pug.

I haven’t made it to act 2, but I needed a break for some tea. (Quiet the mind from @fridaytea.com ) I still have Baz the wonder pug on my lap for comfort. Deep breaths.

Pug of the morning: how could I have moved and taken Baz the wonder pug’s lap away. And still not have given him more snacks.
October 9, 2025 at 10:20 AM
Pug of the day: the deck of alarming noises has been completed! I took Baz out to investigate it. I especially love the tiny pug-sized access door.

Hey, Bee, sending you a sleeping pug pic. Baz is pretty inspiring when it comes to resting.

Today in new deck adventures, Baz must defend me from hammers! He is so fierce and brave.

After more than four inches of rain in the last day, the water is looking pretty high. We’re lucky and didn’t have flooding, but I’ve seen that other areas near us did.

It’s heartworm med day. This means I have to convince Baz the wonder pug to eat the big pieces covered in peanut butter. This works for a few times. Then, I crush up what’s left, put it in his breakfast with warm water, and watch that he doesn’t spit them out. It’s a good thing he’s cute.
September 15, 2025 at 11:33 AM
Pug of the afternoon: I got up and came back to see Baz the wonder pug had claimed my spot and pillows. I asked him nicely if I could sit down. Now we are warm and snuggly again.
September 13, 2025 at 6:13 PM
We’re getting our deck replaced. How will I explain all of the new noises to Baz the wonder pug and full-time bork machine when there are noises like garbage trucks and birds. Perhaps I can just use noise-canceling headphones….
