No Lorcana last weekend as I had a few work responsibilities and some family events. Keep an eye out for this Saturday's posting, as I'll be playing in a 40 person capped Infinity Weekend event Saturday afternoon! Going to see how well Top can handle a full room of folks in a 3-round swiss event!

We're back! Over the past month, I've done a lot of testing in my personal time, and did take the Ruby/Steelsongs list to a casual Infinity event at my LGS to find that Powerline was just too fragile.

We're back! Over the past month, I've done a lot of testing in my personal time, and did take the Ruby/Steelsongs list to a casual Infinity event at my LGS to find that Powerline was just too fragile.

During rd 2 this past weekend, my opp was talking Infinity format with me and my rd 3 opp. Rd 2 opp focuses strictly on Core Constructed, but is a great player who I respect. He made the comment that he didn't see how Infinity wasn't super busted with 🔴⚪ singer control able to mow everything down.

Forgot to post about Lorcana last weekend. Play was Infinity free play, so no structured tournament. I played blue/steel and went 2-0, 2-0, 2-1. 2 of them were on random piles while the other was on red/steel singers.

Haven't posted about Lorcana results in a while since the past few weeks included the release of Fabled and I've had to take time to rebuild some things. I also had some family things that kept me from playing the Infinity event held at my LGS to give us time to build Core Constructed lists.

Didn't play Lorcana this week because it was my wife's birthday, but been doing a fair amount of testing at home. A few thoughts that I want to share, as I think things are going to move quickly once we get to September and Fabled comes out.

Tested my "Top/Miracles" Bruno deck and included the new Moby Dick/Donald Duck combo.
Overall, I liked that the deck could pivot in a couple different directions. I'm not convinced on the new combo being easy to include though, as it takes a ton of commitment to get to 8 ink.

We're back!

Tested my "Top/Miracles" Bruno deck and included the new Moby Dick/Donald Duck combo.

Work and wedding stuff has been crazy over the past month, but I'm back! Just opened my case of Reign of Jafar and ordered everything I still needed for the OTK combo deck and set 8 version of Chernadogs. Look forward to some commentary/input starting with those once they come in!

We mostly played multi-player games today (3 and 4 player pods) but I did get a couple 1v1 games in. Won against red/yellow racers, but lost to a meta-like green/purple list. Overall, I felt the list functioned well, but folds easily to other evasive characters.

Welp, realized I had rewards points on my credit card (what I usually use to fund my hobbies) so I bit the bullet and bought my 4th Maui - Half-Shark. Looks like I'll just be sleeving up DKP's Ruby/Sapphire as my second meta deck after all.

Update: I've decided to sleeve up Zan Syed's Emerald/Steel Discard and a Ruby/Sapphire list as the two meta decks I keep sleeved, plus my Amethyst/Sapphire Bruno deck to keep iterating on it. The only hurdle is finding a R/S list other than DKP's, as I don't want to pay $60 for a 4th Maui - Shark.

No Lorcana recap this week. Exhaustion got the best of me and I passed out after work. It's probably for the best, as I'm still not sure what I want to play. I had a bigger blue steel list sleeved up but I'm not sold on it. Looking at emerald/steel discard as a possibility for next week.
