So this will be a difficult decision for authors. As we have seen, Amazon can't lose, either way.
Whether readers buy more expensive books or stick with authors who eat the loss and keep their books cheap, Amazon's profits will increase.
They are the only winners here.

Sadly, Amazon supports more independent voices than most indie bookstores. We shouldn't save indie authors by pushing readers to where you can't get their books.

Amazon isn't perfect, but if we want alternatives, they need to support indie authors, not just the big publishers.

My favorite necromancer has to be Sabriel.

I loved the "beyond the hill" feeling of book, mogget, and exploring the different parts of the old kingdom.
