The fast corrections are probably due to an underlying transient cause of hyponatremia (not necessarily anything to do with treatment). More severe reasons of hyponatremia result in more time in hyponatremia and slower corrections.

Could it be that the longer the patient is severely hyponatremic the more likely is the ODS?

ok, now do a thing with "time spent in severe hypoNa or symptomatic hypoNa" as a risk for ODS.
