I’m thinking of the homogeneity of suburbs and the lack of community spaces. Density means more people rubbing elbows while sprawl makes it easy to spend most of your time at home, work, and in the car. Density facilitates the arts, but society still needs to value creation for them to thrive.

And a biodiversity crisis. And a climate crisis. And a culture crisis.
