Av geek rebel and aviation heretic.
Normally found at the bottom of an image search rabbit hole digging up wonders from the early days of aviation .
Occasional modeller.
Pro EU.
Slava Ukraini.
React to my posts for a follow back.
Thinking about all possible eventualities, I like it.

I'm never getting past Pescara. Early days, just short hops, but he invented the cyclic controls and is the true daddy of helicopters.
Biplane style rotors are an added bonus.

That's a really roundabout way of admitting that you're an utter failure at av geekiing.

Yeah, that's a good one and they're in short supply. Here's another worthwhile one. youtu.be/lCpXMy5GalI?...

Consolidated/Fleet, same thing. 3/4. Pretty good going. Pete got them all though.

TL Aviat A-1B Husky
TR Kaman HH-43 Huskie
BL Siemens-Schuckert Bulldog
BR Consolidated Husky Junior

OOO... all (Husky) dogs except BL which was an absolute bitch to find (resorted to searching for "German monoplanes named after dogs"😁)

Top Geek, well done 👍
An inspired Google search right there, poor old ever hopeless @vivamjm.bsky.social could learn from that but 'old dogs and new tricks' 🤷

Off you pop and do some research then.

Damn you @rogerday.bsky.social for your weird ordering.

TR -Antonov AN-71
BL - Lockheed YF-12A
TL - Avia B-71
BR Spartan UC-71

OOO is the so fuzzy that it's hard to tell anything until you've scrolled forever YF-12A.
Hardly worth the effort though as you didn't include this delightful Albatros L.71

Perfectly understandable at your age old chap.

Terms used in aviation too I do believe.

Upper Port:
Beech craft AT-7

Upper Starboard:
LTV B.HT.1

Lower Port:
MiG-7

Lower Starboard:
DHC C-7 A

Odd one out is the bent judge @vivamjm.bsky.social who will deny my obvious supremacy.

Don't mind me, I'm just adding some much needed aviation quality to this quiz.
November 19, 2025 at 7:03 PM
🤔🤣

1928 Rolls-Royce Phantom I built in Springfield, Massachusetts and bodied by Brewster in New York City. It was built for one M. Allen Swift, who owned it for 77 years, donating it to the RR museum in Springfield two months before his death in 2005 at the age of 102.

I expect you remember it well.

I thought you might well know the Brewster Corsair, but a true Av Geek goes further back than 1939.
