If only more "leaders" showed the leadership of Mayor Wu.

@stephenjnesbitt.bsky.social 's map shows an *excellent* realignment plan, assuming MLB expands in the regions predicted. Of course, MLB will continue to screw everything up by a) getting rid of the AL and NL altogether and b) adding more playoff teams, further weakening the importance of divisions.
MLB expansion is on the horizon, and so is geographic realignment. Here's my stab at projecting realignment. You must admit, the map makes more sense like this.

I was 17 when Ryno debuted with the Cubs. He's the last baseball hero of my childhood. What horrible news. May he rest in peace.
