I’ve been struggling with re-writes lately. I’ve got to do a page one re-write on one of my self-contained features before the end of the year and I’m just not feeling it. At all.

I’d rather write the new shiny thing. 😂

So - I’ve done nothing.

Mine are usually 15-20 pages.

Once you start writing, you may find you go through that outline fast and end up with less pages than you think.

If you’ve overwritten? Who cares. You’ll have something to edit and tighten later. 💪🏻

@networkisa.bsky.social is an option. They host your scripts as well as have gigs you can submit to for companies with specific mandates.

I’ve noticed that emotion seems to be missing from AI generated feedback.

That may (or not!) be the case here.

Yup. The emotion is missing from the analysis. Which is the clearest sign that it was written by AI.

They completely missed my protagonist’s motivation. It was flat out wrong despite being on the page.

Wonder if AFF has responded to any complaints.

The vertical content I’ve seen so far lends truth to that advice.

But- it’s also teaching a skill. Every 2-5 min should be a PAGE TURNER. Should make you want to come back/ keep reading.

That is a skill every writer should hone.

It’s easier to edit crap than it is to edit - nothing.
