Here are all the previews that played before it started:

(Only the Super Mario Galaxy Movie trailer was presented in IMAX.)

Reminders of Him(Interesting!)
You, Me, and Tuscany(Interesting!)
Song Sung Blue(Interesting!)
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie(Seriously Cannot Wait!)
Wicked: For Good(continued):

Let's just say both their performances as Elphaba and Glinda will be some of their most defining ones of their careers. For Good left me teary eyed and really ended the two film story on a very high note.

Wicked: For Good made me cry when the Wicked Witch of the West had water thrown on her.

Not an easy task.

Here are all the previews that played before it started:

Wuthering Heights(Excited!)
Father, Mother, Sister, Brother(Interesting!)
Hamnet(Seriously Cannot Wait!)
Ella McCay(Hyped!)
Is This Thing On?(Interesting!)
Rental Family:

Rental Family is well paced and does a good job at both being cozy and sad... ...but thanks to Brendan Fraser's incredible performance, it really ends up being something rather special. It was also fun seeing Japan again, too.

Always loved that "Ding Dong, the witch is dead" note shout out at the very start of Wicked: Part One.

Out of all the easter eggs from the original 1939 film, that one was my favorite.

Here are all the previews that played before it started:

Send Help(Seriously Cannot Wait!)
Mercy(Sigh...)
Primate(Hyped!)
Five Nights at Freddy's 2(Slight Sigh...)
Hokum(Interesting!)
No Other Choice(Seriously Cannot Wait!)
Keeper:

I appreciate Keeper for being different from Perkins's other films and trying something out of the norm, but other than some very good cinematography and great performances, it's meandering and slow pacing and especially a cop out of an ending really make it sink fast.

Listened to some of the edits of the Ice Spice song from Search for SquarePants.

Astonishing how you can work with a VERY nothing song and still get a lot of fun things from it.

Here are all the previews that played before it started:

Crime 101(Very Excited!)
Five Nights at Freddy's 2(Slight Sigh...)
Wuthering Heights(Excited!)
Avatar: Fire and Ash(Seriously Cannot Wait!)
Primate(Very Excited!)
Scream 7(Cautiously Optimistic.)
The Running Man(2025):

The Running Man may have an inconsistent tone and one will start to feel it's long run time, but with a terrific cast, some powerful themes, and Edgar Wright's signature blend of bounciness and fun, it ends up being very worthwhile.

I really hope Lord and Miller treated the visual effects artists on Project Hail Mary well and actually learned their lessons for once. If there's any production difficulties that happened on that, I will be scared.

But at the same time... ...that second trailer SLAPPED.

Now You See Me, Now You Don't:

Now You See Me, Now You Don't may lack a lot of logic and doesn't have a good script or well developed characters, but thanks to it's fun magic tricks and a charismatic cast, it is a lot of fun to watch. Also felt very cartoony too...

The first Zootopia 2 reactions are coming out tonight.

I am both excited and nervous. Or... ...a excited/nervous combo.

It's one that I have been waiting for for almost a decade... ...and the film that I hope will be the shot in the arm that Disney Animation needs.

That first trailer of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie made me very giddy.

Plus, Larson already makes for quite a good Rosalina and she still NEVER deserved the hate she got.

Here are all the previews that played before it started:

The Choral(Interesting!)
The Secret Agent(Ooooh!)
Hamnet(Seriously Cannot Wait!)
Sentimental Value(Ooooh!)
The Running Man(2025)(Will be seeing it on Saturday!)

Yes, I did see it on the big screen and it was FANTASTIC on it.
Frankenstein(2025):

Frankenstein may be imperfect and has an occasionally wonky structure, but thanks to it's gorgeous visuals, stellar storytelling, and fantastic performances, including a defining turn from Elrodi as the Creature, it's another example of why del Toro is one of the greats.

Paramount really has been going through quite a year...

...and one that they will remember for all the wrong reasons. Least they had Final Reckoning, The Naked Gun, and Roofman, I guess? But even that is darned with faint praise.

Song Sung Blue(Interesting!)
The Running Man(2025)(Seriously Cannot Wait!)
Primate(Hyped!)
The Bride!(Seriously Cannot Wait!)
Wicked: For Good(Seriously Cannot Wait!)
Predator: Badlands:

Even with it's more lighter tone and PG-13 rating, Predator: Badlands still continues Trachtenberg's excellent streak with the titular monster. Great visuals and action, a ton of charm and atmosphere, strong characters, and a lot of heart are all to be found here.

DreamWorks just entered their "we can put our name on anything" era.

Yeah, I'm good with the CocoMelon movie. It will just well, exist.

Bugonia:

Bugonia is certainly a strange as heck film, but thanks to it's excellent production values, great message on why what we say may not always be the right thing, and fantastic performances, it shows why Lathimos and Stone have continued to be powerhouses together.

Basically decided to have some fun with editing...

...and also wondering what A24 would have done with Helluva Boss had they also had the rights to it.

Enjoy!

Out of all the news coming out from today...

...somehow, Minions 3(or Minions and Monsters) being leaked and AVALIABLE to listen to right now was not one of them.

AND it came from a recent test screening, too.

(The second half was presented in IMAX.)

Now You See Me, Now You Don't(Slight Sigh...)
The Carpenter's Son(Interesting!)
Jujitsu Kaisen: Execution(Oooh!)
Sisu: Road to Revenge(Very Excited! But still need to watch the first film.)
Chainsaw Man: The Movie---Reze Arc:

Huge, epic, very easy to follow, and wonderful for both fans of the anime and newcomers, Reze Arc is one heck of a fun ride that also has a rather deep story, but it's animation and action scenes especially make it very memorable. Iris out!

Black Phone 2:

Black Phone 2 may be imperfect and a little messy, but thanks to its fantastic scares and atmosphere, it's great uses of how dreams can affect one in the long run, and terrific performances, it shows why the Grabber is one who still knows his tricks.

Tron: Ares:

Even with the baggage it has and a weak story, Tron: Ares still keeps many of what the previous two Tron films memorable... ...especially with it's very slick visuals and an incredible score from Nine Inch Nails. It's especially a must in IMAX 3D.

Black Phone 2(Seeing it next week!)

Roofman:

While Roofman is as sad as the actual real live event that inspired it, thanks to it's terrific performances, brisk pacing, and a very meaningful message, it really becomes a strong and harrowing film that also shows just how much criminals try hard not to do what they do.
