I actually did a research paper on this. The last time the voting age was lowered, from 21 to 18 - last big extension of the franchise - it made people less likely to vote and there's basically no reason to think lowering it again would be better for cultivating voting as a habit.

I think the writing is better overall since the character writing is excellent (Legion, Mordin, bits like the insane krogan warlord scientist) and the wheels are just *starting* to fall off the wider plot writing.

Dirty Harry is kinda fundamentally fascist but since Clint Eastwood is like a soft jazz guy libertarian some of the sequels wrestle with that and confront police brutality and stuff. Like when The Punisher comics also tell the reader not to take the premise too literally

I don't think this is true - while he was less popular during his life than people like to believe, as far as I can tell his death instantly beatified him among the general white public everywhere outside the deep south.
